The Band – From Tuesday 17th to Saturday 28th April 2018

The Band is a new musical that was written by the award-winning writer Tim Firth. The musical is about what it’s like to grow up with a boy band and how that affects your life. The Band itself is played by the winners of the BBC1 “Let it Shine” Show AJ Bentley, Nick Carsberg, Yazdan Qafouri, Curtis T Johns and Sario Watanabe-Soloman.

The main characters are five 16-year-old girls who adore The Band. In the year 1992, the boy band means everything to them. 25 years later, by now the girls are 40-something years old, we meet them once again as they try to make their dream of meeting their idols come true. The musical is featured by the original music of Britain’s most popular boy band Take That including their most famous songs like Back for Good, Rule the World and Patience.

Beautiful is a musical based on the book by Douglas McGrath telling the story of the early life and career of Carole King, the ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent who became a chart-topping music legend. The musical includes every step in the legend’s life from Carole’s marriage with her songwriting partner Gerry Goffin to her and Gerry’s first number one hit “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” and the induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Written by Jeanie Linders, Menopause the Musical is a hilarious show that celebrates women and shows the experiences of women in their 40s and 50s. The musical is filled with hilarious one-liners about having hot flushes, night sweats and mood changes. A group of four women, who at the first sight might have nothing in common, meet randomly in a department store and decide to bond against the negatives of going through “The Change”. They realize that it’s better to accept the fact that every woman goes through these kinds of things and that laughing about it makes life easier and more exciting.

The Magic of Motown gets all music fans together to the biggest party of the year. The show was seen by over one million people all over the world.
