The pub itself is split between two floors and two terraces, so no matter how large or small your event is set to be, the team has got you covered. The space is also completely FREE to hire on select dates - another reason to get in contact and set your event up now. The Golden Guinea is happy to provide food, a DJ and pretty much anything else you're likely to need, making sure everything is taken care of throughout.

The Golden Guinea is a real off-the-beaten-track, hidden gem sort of pub, with a welcoming atmosphere, impressive graffiti art and fantastic terrace, but both the pub and the road it's located on also have real historical relevance. Guinea Street was named after the well-known Guinea Golden coin, which was derived from a country on the West African coast. The houses along the street were occupied by ships officers and merchants during the Georgian period, and it's rumoured that infamous pirate Blackbeard used to frequent the age-old pub.

Having been renovated last year, the function room at The Golden Guinea is now kitted out to accommodate their massive selection of craft beers, top class rums and mouth-watering food. The kitchen is capable of offering up both hot and cold dishes, with seasonal menus ensuring a high standard of freshness and flavour.

The Golden Guinea's FREE-to-hire function room is available on a first-come-first-served basis, so get in early to avoid missing out on the preferred date(s) for your event. To enquire, give them a call today on 0117 987 2034, contact them via email, or visit their website for more information.
