Cannes Film Festival Winner The Square showing at Everyman Cinema in Bristol

Everyman Cinema Bristol will be showing 2017 Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or winner The Square from Friday 16th March. This multi award winning film by Force Majeure duo producer Kalle Boman and acclaimed director Ruben Östlund is not to be missed. Set around a museum of contemporary art and a mobile phone, The Square is a Swedish satirical drama that the New York Times Magazine describes as “laugh-out-loud funny”.

The film stars Claes Bang as art curator Christian as he handles an unusual new exhibit as well as crises in his personal life. Elisabeth Moss, star of The Handmaid’s Tale based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, plays journalist Anne. Dominic West is cast as Julian.
