Two unmissable comedy shows coming soon at Colston Hall and The Redgrave Theatre

Posted on: 07 Mar 2018

Bristol is set to welcome two well of the most respected comedic writers in the UK in the coming months, with Shazia Mirza's With Love From St Tropez tour stopping off at Colston Hall on Sunday 13th May and Change Management - Andy Hamilton's new live show - at The Redgrave Theatre on Friday 8th June. Tickets for both shows are available now - find Shazia Mirza tickets here and Andy Hamilton tickets here.

Shazia Mirza will perform at Bristol's Colston Hall on Sunday 13th May.

Following her critically acclaimed 2016, sell-out international run of The Kardashians Made Me Do It and fresh from being ravaged by hunger and sand-flies on Channel 4’s Celebrity Island, Shazia Mirza brings her new show, With Love From St Tropez, to the Colston Hall on Sunday 13th May.

A show about lies and truth (or is that the same thing?), nudity and the periodic table, these things hold the key to the future. How much do you wear? What do you look like, and will they let you in? Oh, and don't you dare wear more than dental floss on a French beach.

The Kardashians Made Me Do It explored politically correct liberalism, the intrusion of ISIS into young British lives and Jihadi brides and enjoyed four sell-out runs in London as well as the US, Sweden and Paris.  This brand new show is about lies, lies and more lies. The truth is so 1980's.

Also, award-winning writer and comedian Andy Hamilton (Outnumbered, Ballot Monkeys, Drop The Dead Donkey, What We Did On Our Holiday, Old Harry's Game, The News Quiz, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, Have I Got News For You and QI!!) is bringing his sell-out show, Change Management, to the Redgrave Theatre on Friday 8th June.

Andy Hamilton will perform at Bristol's Redgrave Theatre on Friday 8th June.

In his 60 years on this planet, Andy has experienced many changes. For instance, he was once a 6’4” tall professional basketball player, until a tree fell on him. But, of course, change is an inescapable part of the human condition. Why? Is that fair? Some changes are good, some bad. Why can’t they be more clearly labelled? How did we end up working longer hours? Where did all the sparrows go? If you’re feeling flustered because of flux, Andy will teach you how to cope with the changes we have seen and the changes yet to come.

Tickets for both Andy Hamilton and Shazia Mirza live in Bristol are available now and can be found through the links above. For more information or to follow ticket updates for either of the gigs, visit Colston Hall's website or Facebook page, or The Redgrave Theatre's website or Facebook page.
