Django Django announce show at Bristol's SWX as part of huge UK and European tour

Posted on: 21 Feb 2018

Acclaimed art-rockers Django Django are set to grace the stage at Bristol's SWX next month, with a show on Saturday 24th March the final gig of a bumper 20-date UK and European tour taking place throughout February and March. Tickets for the tour are on sale now and can be found here.

Django Django's new album, Marble Skies, was released on 26th January.

Not long after the release of new album, Marble Skies, on 26th January, sonic adventurers Django Django have announced plans for a new UK and European tour. A renowned live act, the dates mark the band's first full tour in the region since 2015, with an exciting London date scheduled at The Printworks this time around as well as shows in Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam, Paris and Manchester.

More importantly, the band will play Bristol's SWX on Saturday 24th March, their first time back in the city since performing at the O2 Academy back in 2015. The new album features the excellent single Tic-Tac-Toe, which made a flying start upon its release and was instantly added to BBC Radio 6's A-List.

After the brilliant rave-inspired grooves of their last studio album, Marble Skies presents a more concise and focussed offering, recalling the dynamic, genre-bending music of their debut. It's a true return to form for Django Django, an album which brings them back to the handmade, cut-and-paste approach of the past.

Tickets for Django Django live at Bristol's SWX are on sale now and can be found here. For more information or to follow ticket updates, visit the band's official website or check out their Facebook page.
