Delve into M Shed's hidden treasure trove of previously unseen artifacts by taking part in one of its regular Behind the Scenes tours in Bristol.

M Shed in Bristol

L Shed, which adjoins M Shed, houses a fascinating cornucopia of items from a range of maritime, social history and industrial collections - stored there because, like all museums, they have more in its collection than could possibly be displayed at any one time.

Guided through the tour by the venue's knowledgeable volunteers, you'll be able to get an enlightening peek in to the intricate models, massive machinery and curious artifacts all of which, at some point in the future, will get their chance to take centre stage amongst M Shed's main displays.

The tour - which lasts approximately 45 minutes - takes place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 11:30 and every Wednesday at 14:30. Behinds the Scenes are 'pay what you think' events.
