A brand -new show that revisits the classic story of Frankenstein is coming to Bristol Central Library on the 5,6 and 8th of February 2018.

 

The show, produced by Pure Expressions is an immersive take on Mary Shelly’s iconic novel, combining theatre, music and instillations. Set inside the library, the audience will be wearing headphones with the voices of the novel’s haunting characters in their ear.

Visitors move from room to room in an exploration of the library’s hidden corners, following the ghost of Victor Frankenstein. With a soundscape created by award-winning musician Taz Modi, the show is an intimate, eerie journey through a character’s mind.

 

Pure Expression is an immersive theatre company that reimagines classic stories in unique environments. Working in libraries, museums and galleries to create inspiring and interesting projects. They have previously worked with institutions such as the Grant Museum of Zoology, the Jewish Museum London and Westminster Reference Library.

The show is over 12s only and unfortunately cannot accommodate wheelchair users due to the large amount of waking up and down stairs.
