There really are lots of small changes we can all make, that will help make a huge difference to our beautiful oceans, such as simply popping a reusable coffee cup in your handbag when you’re out and about – I also ensure I always take a reusable bag with me when I go shopping for food supplies! Get involved and make a pledge today, whether that’s saying no to straws or plastic cutlery or always using a reusable water bottle; together, we can help protect our oceans!”

Colston’s Lower School Headmaster, David Edwards, said: “We have been so excited for the arrival of Plasticus here at Colston’s and it’s been a very interesting and inspiring morning learning about the issue of single-use plastic pollution and the dire impact it is having on our oceans. The student’s here at Colston’s have been so engaged with the issue today and it’s been fantastic hosting Sky Ocean Rescue and the giant plastic whale. Sky Ocean Rescue has inspired us to change and we will do our best to encourage others to follow”.
