The Redgrave Theatre is proud to host Pacifists and Protestors in February, featuring a performance of Alexander J Gifford's A Dangerous Woman and a presentation of the words of poets and other protestors from the First World War era. Tickets for the events on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th February are on sale now, and can be found here.

Pacifists and Protestors will showcase a series of dramatic renditions of the lives and points of view of the men and women who protested Britain's involvement in World War One from 1914 and throughout the conflict. The aforementioned performance of A Dangerous Woman was recently shortlisted for the Adrian Pagan New Writing Award.

Pacifists and Protesters will be shown at The Redgrave Theatre on the 13th and 14th of February 2018.

Bristol's Redgrave Theatre was officially opened in 1986 by Sir Michael Redgrave, a former student of the old Clifton College Theatre. The Theatre's popularity has continued to grow over the years, as they champion amateur drama as well as hosting professional productions. Pacifists and Protestors, originally produced to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War, has recieved support from The Heritage Lottery to explore a largely forgotten and overlooked part of British history.

Pacifists and Protestors will be shown at The Redgrave Theatre on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th February 2018, with doors opening at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £12 and can be booked here. For more information or for further enquiries, visit The Redgrave Theatre's Facebook page.
