Ahead of the impending release of new album Godfather II, Wiley is due to perform at Bristol's Motion on Friday 23rd February as part of an eight-date UK tour. Wiley's latest album, Godfather 2, is due for release on 2nd March 2018.

Born Richard Cowie, Wiley is often credited with creating the Grime genre and giving birth to a whole new movement of Lodnon-based artists gaining notoriety for illustrating their own world in their music. He formed his own crew, Roll Deep, in the early 2000's, focusing on observational lyricism on life in London, delivered in an English accent at a time when so many of his contemporaries were trying to sound American.

One of few artists from the original Grime movement, alongside Dizzee Rascal and others, Wiley went on to find fame with a string of chart-placing projects, releasing nine studio albums between 2006 and 2014. He is also partly responsible for the introduction of now-infamous label Boy Better Know back in 2005, now owned and run by brothers JME and Skepta - both of whom you've probably heard about.

On Friday 23rd February, Wiley arrives in Bristol to play the updated Marble Factory space at Motion, before going on to perform in Birmingham, Manchester and finishing up with two dates at the O2 Academy in Brixton.

Tickets for Wiley at Motion on Friday 23rd February are still available in limited quantities. Book yours now to avoid disappointment - for more information or to follow ticket updates, visit Motion's website.
