Joe Strouzer's Three Piece Chicken Orchestra to play The Golden Lion on Sunday 14th January 2018

Posted on: 09 Jan 2018

Bring your weekend to a typically quirky musical close on Sunday 14th January courtesy of, naturally, The Golden Lion on Bristol's Gloucester Road, who will hand over a few hours to the marvellously-monikered Joe Strouzer's Three Piece Chicken Orchestra.

Joe Strouzer's Three Piece Chicken Orchestra will be performing at The Golden Lion in Bristol on Sunday 14th January 2018.

Yep, from 4pm to 6pm you can wallow in an inspiring musical melange of blues, originals, jazz, old time, hokum and jug band as the fabulous Joe will work his magic, abetted by solid sonic support from Jake Slocombe on fiddle and Joe Trudgeon on double bass.

A jolly jamboree of offbeat rhythms and tunes in the company of fine musical troubadours, entry is free although you can pop a few pennies in a hat which will be doing the rounds.

You can find out more about the event here and check out upcoming gigs at Bristol's Golden Lion here.

The Golden Lion is located at 244 Gloucester Road, BS7 8NZ.
