David Bowie night for cancer charity Penny Brohn in Bristol Friday 12th January 2018Posted on: 29 Dec 2017
The event is free, and brought to you by Dr Love Vinyl Revival’s latest Bowie DJ Tribute Night to mark the second anniversary of David Bowie’s passing to cancer and to support those now facing the disease.
The evening includes an auction of Bowie-signed memorabilia, a raffle, prizes for best costumes and Bowie-inspired cocktails. Proceeds go to Penny Brohn UK and The Crown will also donate a percentage of takings. Last year’s event raised over £740 for Penny Brohn.
Penny Brohn is one of the forefront charities when it comes to helping people deal with cancer. The organisation has been running since 1979 and has been helping people come to terms with cancer through care and understanding. They have raised so much money to help those come to terms with their illness and have changed so many people's lives.
