The Wailers have been together since 1981, best known for their days playing alongside Bob Marley

Best known for their days playing alongside the legendary Bob Marley, The Wailers have continued to make music and tour their live show long after Marley's tragic passing. Perhaps their greatest album (and the best-selling reggae album of all time), Legend, will be played in its entirety by The Wailers in their 2018 tour - a must-see for reggae fans.

Originally released in 1984, Legend features hits like Is This Love, No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds and Get Up, Stand Up. The album is one of the longest non-consecutive Billboard-charting records of all time, and still sells an estimated 3,000 copies per week worldwide. The sound of Bob Marley and the Wailers is instantly recognisable, with Legend featuring some of the most celebrated tracks of all.

Off the back of their 2017 headline tour, The Wailers return to bring their revolutionary sound to UK audiences. Steered by acclaimed bassist Aston 'Familyman' Barrett and joined by original Wailers guitarists Julian Junior Marvin and Donald Kinsey, the band continue to create musical history.

Tickets for The Wailers at Bristol's O2 Academy on Wednesday 14th March are on sale now and can be found here. For more information, visit the O2 Academy's official website.
