From 1st to 19th December, you can see Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s production of The Wizard of Oz at the Redgrave Theatre.

 

The Wizard of Oz has been entertaining audiences for generations and now you have the opportunity to follow the Yellow Brick Road this Christmas.

Dorothy and her little dog Toto are whisked away from their Kansas farm by a tornado, and the find themselves in the magical land of Oz. Desperate to find their way home, they make their way to the Emerald City to see the Wizard of Oz in the hope that he can get them home to Kansas. Along the way, Dorothy and Toto are joined by a Scarecrow, a Cowardly Lion and a Tin Man, all of whom have their own reasons for wanting to see the Wizard. Unfortunately for Dorothy, things are going to be tricky because the Wicked Witch of the West is out to get her... Will Dorothy and Toto manage to get back to Kansas?

 

In this acclaimed RSC version, you can enjoy all the classics such as Over The RainbowIf I Only Had A Brain/ A Heart/ The Nerve and We’re Off To See The Wizard (Follow The Yellow Brick Road).

 

So whether you pop on your ruby slippers or whether you prefer to jump on your broomstick, make your way to the Redgrave Theatre for Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s very special adaptation of this festive family treat. And remember – ‘There’s no place like home.’
