Stage version of ITV's Benidorm comes to Bristol Hippodrome for a string of shows in November 2018
Posted on: 30 Nov 2017The much-loved TV comedy is celebrating a decade of all-inclusive hilarity after its' creation in 2007, with nine televised series following an ensemble cast of holiday makers in the Spanish resort. With series ten due in early next year, we can announce that the show's creator Derren Litten will be bringing your favourite characters to the stage for a series of special live performances at Bristol's Hippodrome in November 2018!

Starring all the original cast, including Jake Canuso as Mateo, Janine Duvitski as Jacqueline and Adam Gillen as Liam, Benidorm is set to bring sunshine and smiles to the UK and Ireland in a debut stage production of the hugely popular TV show. The cast will perform eight shows across five days at the Bristol Hippodrome, from Monday 19th-Saturday 24th November 2018.
Creator Derren Litten has specially written an all-new set of Alicante escapades for the beloved cast members, as they swap Sangria for the stage - but not before a quick spruce up at the Blow 'n' Go! "I’ve loved ten years of writing my TV show Benidorm but despite a successful writing career I’m first and foremost a performer so have always been secretly frustrated I couldn't hear the audience’s laughter" Litten said. "This national tour of Benidorm Live will not only make a long lasting dream come true but will also mean I no longer have to stand in strangers' gardens listening at their windows at 9 o’clock on cold winter evenings.”
The TV version of Benidorm has received wide critical acclaim, winning two National Television Awards and being nominated for British Comedy and BAFTA awards - book now for a dose of Benidorm sunshine and see your favourite stars from the Solana live on stage for the very first time!
