Die Hard at Bristol Spirit on Wednesday 6th December 2017

Bristol Spirit will be holding a special screening of that perennial Christmas classic, the Bruce Willis-starring Die Hard, on Wednesday 6th December 2017.

Now hailed as a modern action movie classic, the springboard for Willis' film career, and renowned for an oft-quoted one-liner too profane to quote in a family-friendly magazine, this 1988 blockbuster often makes it into the Top 10 Christmas Film list and spawned four sequels.

Willis plays NYPD officer John McClane who has to rescue his wife from the clutches of evil German terrorist Hans Gruber (a fantastic, scenery-chewing performance by the late, great Alan Rickman) during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.

This Cinema Club special will see not only a top quality projection of this muscular action masterpiece, but throughout the night you'll be well fed and lubricated with a lip-smacking range of delicious festive cocktails, hot dogs and ice-cream.

All things party-related and Brucie-starring will kick off from 6pm with the film starting at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £12.50 (inc.VAT), with a cocktail and popcorn included in the price.
