Christmas Choir in Bristol for Cancer Charity Penny Brohn 8th December
Posted on: 23 Nov 2017Join Bristol-based cancer charity Penny Brohn at Clifton College as they host an evening of award winning choirs on Friday 8 December.
The festive fundraiser will feature a stellar lineup of accomplished vocalists and musicians, including Cheddar Male, the Penny Brohn Community, High Down Schools, Clifton College and Clifton High School choirs.
There will also be a raffle and refreshments.
Penny Brohn community fundraiser Sarah Godfrey said:
“Get into the holiday spirit and help families facing cancer as these incredible choirs perform classic carols and festive favourites.
“There’s something for everyone and every penny raised will help us continue our life-changing work.”
Penny Brohn is one of the forefront charities when it comes to helping people deal with cancer. The Bristol-based organisation has been running since 1979 and has been helping people come to terms with cancer through care and understanding. They have raised so much money to help those come to terms with their illness and have changed so many people's lives.
Being diagnosed with cancer can challenge every aspect of life, turning everything you know upside down. Through their services, they’ve helped thousands of people discover how to live rich and full lives with cancer and to take back control of their health.
They run a range of courses, groups and individual therapies designed to help anybody affected feel better and live better with cancer, its treatments and side effects. They couldn’t continue this amazing work without their hard-working fundraising teams and the support of all the good people of Bristol town and further. Services are free, but rely on donations.

Penny Brohn has produced a Christmas cards collection, 10 designs from traditional tidings to comical cards. They are £3.75 per pack of 10, with everything raised going to support people facing cancer.
