TREE AID 30th Anniversary Dinner on Bristol’s ss Great Britain

TREE AID is an international development charity that works in the drylands of Africa. Over the last 30 years TREE AID has planted over 13 million trees across Africa benefiting over 1 million people, who now understand how to use trees for food, health and income, while protecting the environment.

 

Based in the city of Bristol, 2017 is a special year for TREE AID as the charity prepares to celebrate their 30th anniversary and to mark this special occasion TREE AID are hosting a dinner and dance on board the ss Great Britain in Bristol on Thursday 16th November.

Hosted by patron Professor Alice Roberts from Channel 4’s television show Time Team and BBC2’s Coast in partnership with Doctor Paul Sinha from ITV’s The Chase, the evening will be a special night to remember. 

 

Greeted with a champagne reception, guests can enjoy private tours on-board the striking ship and professional portrait photographs with their guests, with the ship as a backdrop. A delicious three-course dinner will follow, with half a bottle of wine per person included. There will also be fantastic entertainment from Doctor Paul Sinha with his stand-up comedian hat on, who said:

“It is really important in this day and age that people in a position to help spend some of their life in altruistic pursuit. What is appealing about Tree Aid is how original their ideas are, and how committed they are to long term rather than short term solutions.”
