Performer Grania Pickard will appear at Bristol's Trinity Centre on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th October 2017 with a moving piece of theatre entitled He Ain't Heavy.

Trinity Centre Bristol

Influenced by her experiences growing up with her brother who suffers from severe learning difficulties, epilepsy and autism, Grania incorporates physical theatre, aerial circus and audience interaction to bring her very personal story to life. She'll also utilize the art of puppetry to give the audience a representation of how her brother walks, talks and interacts with the world around him and how his individual approach to life has influenced her.

Grania will also be holding a free workshop on Thursday 26th October at the venue for an hour from 11am in which she'll focus on young siblings and carers of people with disabilities, employing circus and physical theatre so young people can express their own stories and experiences.

Performances on Wednesday and Thursday are at 3pm and 8pm with an additional workshop at 11am on Thursday morning. The show is being held in conjunction with Bristol's Circus City.

Tickets for He Ain't Heavy cost £12 (£10 concessions) and can be purchased here.

Trinity Centre is located at Trinity Road, Bristol, BS2 0NW
