Posted on: 06 Oct 2017Oxjam Music Festival returns to Bristol for its unrivalled mix of top-notch tunes and promoting worthy causes on Saturday 7th October 2017.
Now in its 11th year, this phenomenally successful annual event is a national campaign that unites the city's most enthusiastic music lovers, promotes grassroots music, and raises awareness to fighting suffering and poverty around the world.
The festival proper will kick off from 2.30pm and run until very late, with free music sessions and performances taking place at a multitude of venues across the city including No.1 Harbourside, The Mothers Ruin and Hy-Brasil Music Club.
Acts will cover a bright and breezy cross-section of genres that will showcase the talents of local favourites such as Brook Tate, Jasper Storey, The Travis Waltons and The Minke Whales.
Between the music you'll also get the chance to donate some of your loose change to an important cause and have some fun taking part in a raffle and range of games.
Organised and run by volunteers who thrive on the buzz and brilliance of the ever-burgeoning local music scene, Oxjam is a celebratory event brimming with exemplary talent and tuneage that just gets better ever year.
