Octopus Weekend at Bristol Aquarium on Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th October 2017

Posted on: 05 Oct 2017

Experience a tentacle-tickling two-day extravaganza courtesy of those wonderful water-fascinated folk at Bristol Aquarium with their Octopus Weekend from Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th October 2017.

Running in conjunction with International Octopus Day on Sunday 8th October, this double-day dip in the watery exploits of the fascinating eight-armed mollusc will feature the interactive music-making workshop ROCKTOPUS on the Saturday. The whole family will be able to get into the groove of loads of fun, catchy songs, and write and record a brand new one for an album inspired by your experiences at the aquarium.

Just as marvelous and impressive is the venue's very own resident Giant Pacific Octopus, Luna, who you'll be able to see swimming around in all her majestically tentacled glory and listen to interesting stories and facts about her.

You could do worse than spend your Saturday and Sunday in the company of all things Cephalopod, and you can find out more about this event - which takes place from 10am to 5pm on both days - and others by clicking here.
