What's on this week at Smoke & Mirrors Bristol

Posted on: 02 Oct 2017

Smoke & Mirrors on Denmark Street in Bristol are offering up another line-up full of great comedy, magic and family entertainment this week from Monday 2nd through Sunday 8th October 2017.

Kicking things off on Monday, Smoke & Mirrors hosts the weekly Bunch of Japes stand-up comedy night, headlined this week by Adam Rowe - a self indulgent, arrogant chap who prides himself on an ability to make absolutely anything about himself. When bad stuff happens in his life and the life of people around him, his immediate reaction is to write a joke about it. But just how far can he take that? This show is where we'll find out. Join Adam for a brand new hour of his trademark: no holds barred, heavily opinionated and brutally honest, soul bearing stand-up. Advance tickets for the popular comedy night can be bought here for just £3.50, so book now to avoid disappointment!

Smoke & Mirrors' A Bunch of Japes Comedy Night has hosted some big names in the past, including Russell Howard and Alan Carr.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday there's free magic at your table as well as on Friday and Saturday the House Magicians return for their Comedy & Magic Shows - one of Smoke & Mirrors' most popular events! Kicking off at 8pm, Friday's proceedings will be hosted by Fritz Alkemade and bar owner Mark Bennett while Saturday sees Matthew Brady and Richard Newman take to the stage for two hours of side-splitting comedy and mind-blowing magic. The Comedy & Magic Show is one of Smoke & Mirrors' most sought-after evenings so book now to avoid disappointment!

Friday's Live Comedy & Magic Show will be hosted by Fritz Alkemade and bar owner Mark Bennett

If you're looking for great fun for all the family then look no further than Saturday's Family Comedy & Magic Show from 4.30pm-6pm! Two of the bar's House Magicians will wow the audience during their 90-minute show that's fun for all ages. Just before the start of the show, visitors will be invited into the intimate 1920's style theatre where a compere will talk you through what to expect during the performance. The Family Comedy & Magic Show is another of Smoke & Mirrors' most popular shows, so book tickets here to guarantee your place.

You can find the full list of events here, for more information visit the bar's website or their Facebook page.
