Posted on: 28 Sep 2017

Cox & Baloney welcomes you to its' weekly Gin & Cheese Club this Friday for an evening of great tastings and an award-winning atmosphere!

Cox & Baloney has recently been recognised as the best cafe/tea room in the South West

You can't go wrong with a bit of gin and cheese. A somewhat unique combination, Cox & Baloney's Gin & Cheese nights are a must if you're looking to experience something slightly different on your Friday night. With two sittings every week - one at 6.30pm and one at 8.00pm - a session costs £32 for two people and includes the following:

  • Three tasters of Cox & Baloney's fine selection of gins
  • A cheese platter to share
  • A brief history and pointers about each individual gin from one of the cafe's in-house experts

"Every Friday we run our famous Gin & Cheese tastings in Bristol, where we showcase a selection of our favourite gins, giving you a brief history and teaching you about the different types of gin. You can then choose three of your favourite gins to enjoy alongside one of our delicious cheese platters."

Cox & Baloney is an independent, vintage-style tea room, full to the brim with tea-related treasures and artisan gin. From their own loose-leaf tea brand, cups and saucers, teapots and other homeware, C&B is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family. The Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards recently recognised Cox & Baloney as the Best Tea Room/Cafe in the South West, and it's easy to see why.
