Posted on: 15 Sep 2017

Meadowlark have today released the eye-catching video for new single 'Sunlight'. The track is the latest to be taken from the Bristol-based duo's debut album 'Postcards' which is out now on independent record label AllPoints.

Meadowlark's debut album Postcards is out now

The video was directed by Dan Broadley, who has previously worked with the likes of Don Broco and Mallory Knox, and features two Donald Trump characters getting closer as the song progresses.

Rather than aimlessly smearing the US President, however, Dan explains that he aimed to take a satirical look at prejudice. He explains that "Sunlight is probably one of Meadowlark's biggest sounding songs and with that I wanted to create a big visual statement for it." You can watch the video for 'Sunlight' here.

Meadowlark are due to embark on a UK-wide headline tour later this month, culminating in a homecoming gig at the Louisiana in Bristol on 13th October.

You can get your hands on Meadowlark's debut album here, as well as following tour updates and ticket information on the band's website.
