Loyle Carner to play at Bristol's O2 Academy

Posted on: 10 Aug 2017

Sound of 2016 shortlister and Mercury-nominated Loyle Carner will swing by Bristol for an evening at the O2 Academy on Wednesday 4th October, smack-bang in the middle his autumn UK tour.

Loyle Carner Bristol

For some time, silver-tongued lothario Loyle Carner had been steadily turning heads with his unconventional layering of lethargic rap over pared-down backing tracks, winning followers over through the heartfelt honesty and candid quality of his lyrics: indeed, one of the consistent take-aways from a first Carner gig is just how good a guy he is.

And then Yesterday's Gone happened.

Both critically and commercially, the success of Carner's debut surpassed all reasonable expectation, catapulting him into sight of a whole new audience, via sky-rocketing sales, Mercury nominations and more.

The size of the rapper's latest UK tour (his biggest to date) reflects this, taking in a number of the country's major academies. Slap-bang in the middle of this is a visit to Bristol, which he will make on the 6th October.

Tickets to the show are £20.20 (including booking fee) and are available here.
