At-Bristol is opening its top floor to punters in the remaining weeks of summer, revealing panoramic views of Bristol to be enjoyed with an array of sumptuous drinks.

Bristol isn’t exactly short of after-work drinks locations is it? Wherever your offices are in the city, a spitting radius will hold a strong assortment of suitable boozers offering well-earned alcoholic refreshment after a long day’s graft.

A revelation made by At-Bristol, however, has added yet another option to the long list of possible post-5pm watering holes. Yesterday (27th July) the science building opened a bar on its top floor to the public, the first in a series of sessions which will take place on every Thursday evening until the end of August.

Serving between 6pm-11pm, the bar is the perfect spot to take in the remains of the summer sunshine with a glass of the good stuff in your hand. It has been opened to coincide with the events taking place as part of At-Bristol’s ‘What If’ Festival, and to keep its guests suitably hydrated.

The rooftop terrace can be accessed by going through a side door to the building, located immediately behind the planetarium.
