World’s biggest inflatable obstacle course opens outside Bristol
Posted on: 12 Jul 2017'The Labyrinth Challenge’, a thousand-foot long inflatable obstacle course, will open to the public at Bath Racecourse (35 minutes from Bristol) this Saturday and Sunday.
It is a well-acknowledged truth that a swimming pool is only as good as the inflatables which float upon it. And when the blow-up obstacle course was introduced at the public baths, you knew that fun was to be had…
But those inflatables tended to be size-appropriate for the younger swimmers, rendering the activity largely inaccessible once you reached a certain point in your maturity.
Until now! Rejoice inflatable fans, for a new venture is bringing the blow-ups back and introducing an obstacle course that is suitably adult-sized - and comes without the pool. The Labyrinth Challenge represents 1000ft of entertainment, with five zones and over 30 obstacles to get past, over and under – and is the biggest of its kind in the world.
Also accompanying the course is an inflatable village, which houses a downsized course for under-12s and an area for under-5s, as well as activities like laser tag, crazy golf, soft play and bouncy castles.
The whole complex will take over Bath racecourse this weekend (15th-16th July), with tickets to attend selling quickly.
Dan Byrne, tour director for The Labyrinth Challenge said: “We can’t wait to hit the road and bring The Labyrinth Challenge and Inflatable Village to Bath.”
“The village is an essential part of the weekend, extending the excitement so that everyone can experience the inflatable thrills and spills without having to test themselves on the main course.
“Spectators get access to the inflatable village with their entrance ticket and can either purchase a wristband for unlimited use of its many attractions or buy tokens to just try the ones they want.”
The Labyrinth Challenge will take place at Bath Race Course on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July. Tickets, which are variously priced, are available for purchase here.
