Riff Raff Choir announce two Bristol dates

Posted on: 05 Jul 2017

The a capella pop choir comprised entirely of volunteers will perform at two shows on the 29th and 30th July at St Paul’s Church and Redland Park respectively.

Riff Raff Choir

The Riff Raff Choir was originally pulled together in 2010 by Elaine Wilson and Joe Blench, who conspired to create a group of singers specializing in performing rock and pop music. Back then, the group consisted of 50 singers; fast forward seven years and you can count well over 300 participants performing as part of several groups around Bristol. These meet in Clifton, Redland, Southville, Bishopston and Fishponds.

Though participation in the choir requires no audition, its quality is assured by the excellent teaching provided by a group of passionate individuals with a wealth of musical experience at their fingertips.

And you have the chance to catch them in action! Riff Raff are putting on a pair of shows at St Paul’s Church and Redland Park, which will take place on the 29th and 30th July respectively. These shows will represent the culmination of the choirs’ work in this spring term, and will therefore feature a wide repertoire of rock and pop arrangements. Under 18s go free.

Tickets to each of the shows are £5.50 and can be purchased here. For more about Riff Raff and for details of how to join them, visit their website.
