A lot of the time when you think of Bristol, you think of an independent city with a real community spirit. If that is the case then you will love Bristol’s Independents Summer Fete. This is an opportunity for the whole family to get down to the Memorial Stadium on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July to support plenty of local businesses.

Plenty of stuff for the whole family at Bristol's Independents Summer Fete

This is a real celebration of food, drink and crafts throughout Bristol. There will be a plethora of tasty treats for you to delve into, an array of handmade and finely polished crafts and plenty of stalls to quench your thirst. There will also be live music to help you get into the summer spirit with some amazing bands already confirmed. This is the perfect way to get everyone in the community together for a fun summers day.

To celebrate the wealth of fantastic independent businesses that we have here in this amazing city of Bristol, any support would be massively appreciated. All you have to do is drop an email to info@barbiebristol.com with any enquiries or even if you wished to volunteer to help some local business.

Not only is there all of these treats, there will also be an outdoor cinema in The Memorial Stadium on the same weekend! Playing classics like Blues Brothers on the Friday, Grease on the Saturday and Wayne’s World on Sunday. They have even made sure your little ones won’t be bored with the newly released Illumination film, Sing playing on Friday.

If you missed any of these classics on the big screen then this is your chance to finally catch them in all their glory. Get your tickets here - tikk.com. You really don’t want to miss out on an outdoor cinema in the sunshine.
