The Addams Family

They’re creepy and their kooky, mysterious and spooky; they’re altogether ooky… and they’re going to be in Bristol this September! That’s right, The Addams Family are coming to town and will be haunting the Hippodrome for five nights between the 19th and 23rd September.

If you aren’t familiar with the Addams household, it comprises, among other eerie members, a zombie manservant, a cousin enshrouded entirely in hair and a disembodied hand – and you thought your family was dysfunctional.

Since their first appearance on a comic strip in The New Yorker all the way back in 1938, the gothic family have appeared in various forms and incarnations, most notably in Barry Sonnenfeld’s films of 1991 and 1993. Their latest outing sees the clan take to the stage for a production written by the people behind Jersey Boys, a musical that will give you the shivers in more ways than one – whether you are 7 or 307!

The show embarks on a UK tour this summer, stopping over in Bristol for five nights at the Hippodrome between the 19th and 23rd September. Tickets can be bought here.

We have two pairs of tickets to opening night on the 19th September to give away to two lucky winners! To be in with a chance, click on our Contact Us section, fill in the details and in the 'Your Message' section write "Addams Family Competition" and be sure to have liked the post on Facebook. Good luck!

COMPETITION WINNER WILL BE DRAWN AT 4PM ON FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2017
