The show of Bristol’s own Mark Bennett incorporates magic and comedy in a spectacle which will leave you laughing and gasping in equal measure at Smoke & Mirrors tomorrow night (16th June).

Dubious Internet psychiatrists have termed a phrase ‘the magic of laughter’, figuring the relationship between the two as one of cause and effect, whereby extraordinary levels of happiness can be achieved through laughing - yet rarely are the two aspects combined to one amorphous being.

One of these rare instances is taking place at Smoke & Mirrors tomorrow evening, when Mark Bennett brings his one-man comedy-magic show to the city centre bar. Though the show itself begins at 7.30pm, guests are invited to arrive half an hour earlier, to be greeted by displays from the bar’s in-house close-up magicians. With 15 minutes before the show, the audience will be invited to assemble in the 1920s-style auditorium for Bennett’s intimate performance.
