The Ashville in Southville, Bristol, has slowly but surely become a staple of mouth-watering food, quality service and a family friendly atmosphere that nowhere in the city can come close too.  The Ashville has also become one of the best steak spots in Bristol, offering up huge slabs of top quality beef and some incredible challenges that even Adam Richman would struggle with. They are also currently looking for a chef to join their team.

I mean who doesn't love a good steak?

With steaks of all sizes and cuts any carnivore simply cannot be disappointed with a trip to The Ashville. The steaks range from fillet, rump, Cote De Boeuf and the ever-popular Tomahawk. They are also looking for a charismatic chef to join their team and help them keep on creating some of the best steaks in Bristol. Check out all the details by looking at their Facebook advertisement.

A personal favourite of 365 must be the 72oz challenge, which has now become the thing of legend in Bristol. The T-Bone steak will be grilled to perfection and served alongside triple cooked chips, mushrooms, salad, vegetables, garlic toast, onion rings and both peppercorn and béarnaise sauce. It's all washed down with a pint! The challenge still stands undefeated, and if you can finish this monster the meal is free! If you can’t finish it, you feel the wrath of the £83 bill. Like with all their steaks if you want to undertake this mammoth challenge, you can call ahead first to make sure they have the steak you want to eat available.

The Ashville is deservedly creating a real buzz for its food, with head chef Simon Miller serving up such other culinary feasts as 8-hour slow cooked lamb tagine, duck ragu tagliatelle and smoked haddock and saffron risotto. Guest ales include Bath Ales Gem and Doom Bar, while cider aficionados are well catered for with Stowford Press and Addlestone's Cloudy.

The lunchtime menu, which offers up 2 courses for £10, an incredible deal you’ll not want to miss, is served from 12pm to 3pm, the evening menu from 5pm to 10pm. Their Sunday roasts are served from 12pm to 7pm, with child portions available. Bedrooms have been incorporated into the upstairs pub so the venue is also a B&B.

Awesome food and incredible atmosphere, what is not to love at The Ashville

This has truly become an amazing spot for proper, tasty grub in Bristol and it would honestly be such a shame if you were to miss out! For more information, visit The Ashville website or their Facebook page
