A staple of theatre perfection, Bristol Hippodrome has seen incredible performances for everyone in the city, and this month is no exception! Check out all the amazing events that are going on over May.

Sam Bailey - Sing My Heart Out

Wonderland – Fri 12 - Sat 13

TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, will headline the UK tour of Wonderland as Queen of Hearts alongside musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts, who has previously starred in tours of South Pacific, 42nd Street and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, as White Rabbit.

ADAM ANT ANTHEMS - Sun 14

The tour will showcase Adam’s impressive back catalogue of material including hit singles, B-Sides and personal favourites.  The album, Kings of the Wild Frontier (1980) became a worldwide hit, spending 12 weeks at number 1 and won the Brit Award for Best British Album.

 

Shawn Klush - Elvis World Tour - Mon 15

Direct from the USA, the world's most successful Elvis tribute artist of all time returns to the UK by popular demand.   Featuring original Elvis band members ‘The Sweet Inspirations’ who performed with the King as his backing vocalists on over one thousand shows from 1969 to 1977.

Sam Bailey - Sing My Heart Out – Wed 17

Hot off the back of her portrayal of Mama Morton in the critically-acclaimed musical Chicago, X Factor winner Sam Bailey returns to the stage with her very own live show.

Enjoy everyone’s favourite rags-to-riches story, in a beautifully adapted ballet version for children aged three upwards.

Improv Night with Degrees of Error - Thu 25

Join us for a night of hilarity at the Hippodrome. Situated in our Piano Bar, sit back, grab a drink and enjoy a night of hilarious ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ style improv comedy, featuring music, song, poetry, monologues, and a jazzy quick fire vibe.

Gangsta Granny - Wed 31 - Sat 03
