The Gloucester Old Spot has long been heralded as one of Bristol's best pubs serving up exemplary food. Always evolving, they have now released a new menu that has gone down a storm with both old and new clients.

It's been an open secret for some time now - The Old Spot serves up high-end dining in a great pub atmosphere that's perfect for absolutely any occasion. Reviewers consistently rank it among Bristol's best and the awards they have won speak for themselves. The previous menu was wonderful - and the daily specials meant that no visit would be the same - but the new menu takes things up a notch.

Pub classics are catered for, as you would expect, but they are joined by a menagerie of dishes to excite every diner. To that end, you can expect the Summer Vegetable Chowder (below) to sit alongside a Grilled Flatiron Steak, Cornish Crab on Toast, their famous burgers and, of course, a Gloucester Old Spot sausage or two.

There's also a full stand-alone gluten free menu to choose from as well as kids', breakfast, and the hugely popular Sunday lunch.

Amy Devenish took charge in September 2014 and has transformed the venue into a family friendly venue with perhaps the best pub garden we have come across in Bristol. There are board games for the kids, colouring books, toys and it's also dog friendly too!
