It's gin for the win at The Rummer Hotel in Bristol
Posted on: 04 May 2017Operating at the beating heart of Bristol, The Rummer Hotel is a swanky bar that is consistently in an abundance of fine spirits – though not the one that its name might suggest…
Despite its spiced, brown title, The Rummer Hotel has become renowned more for its speciality in an altogether more transparent form of alcohol. The bar and restaurant on All Saints Lane is one of Bristol’s leading specialisers in gin, and is a large part of the reason that the city is now so widely-appreciated for its produce.
As well as boasting a back-bar with a selection of the finest gins this side of Plymouth Rock, they are also in possession of their own micro distillery, put to good use in producing their own unique range of alcoholic idiosyncrasies.
All of these delicious liquids trickle into the overall drinking and dining experience on offer at The Rummer, which is just as comfortable as hosting a casual drink as it is playing the venue for a wedding reception.
Their bartenders have long been at the vanguard of Bristol’s cocktail scene, and continue to innovate and impress the cocktails crowd in the city. The stack of awards and accolades accrued over the years is a ready testament to the hard work and creativeness of their team. If these aren’t for you however, beers, ciders and wines all feature in large numbers.
The Rummer is open every day of the week, so there is no excuse to head on down and get a taste of some of the best drink and food the city has to offer.
