Singin in the Rain

Drizzle is the precipitation most notably associated with Bristol, so, naturally, which musical is more suitable for performance in the city than Singin’ In The Rain?

The classic love story has been a firm favourite with audiences ever since Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds first brandished their umbrellas on the silver screen in 1952, with popularity for the stage version growing exponentially up to the present day.

Taking on production duties are The Big Act, the local drama school who specialise in in ultra-quick turnarounds, who will rehearse the play only 48 hours prior to performance. If previous productions We Will Rock You and Fame are anything to go by, their latest puddle-dunking adventure is set to cause a splash.

Tickets for Singin' In The Rain start at £19.40 and can be bought here.
