Playing at The Alma Tavern in Bristol on Tuesday 18th and Friday 21st April, this is a perfect perfect Easter holidays family outing. Alf has an eye for other people's possessions. Especially belongings of sentimental value. He snatches and grabs without a thought for other people’s feelings. But it's time for him to change tack and learn that there are better ways to play! 



Roll up, set a sail and join Alf as he gallops through the blustery wood, along the seashore and revels in wonder as the circus comes to town. Full of imaginative play, original songs and vibrant characters - Alf the Highwayman is a show for all the family with plenty of chances to join in and no frights!

Alf the Highwayman was first devised in 2016 by Paul Lawless and Gill Simmons of Brave Bold Drama, a professional Bristol-based theatre company. Originally touring between April to October 2016 the show won Best Children’s Show at the Shaftesbury Fringe and has recently commenced a Summer 2017 'retour'  - visiting  venues throughout the South West over the coming months.

 

Suitable for all ages to enjoy, but especially suitable for ages 3+. Running time is 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of interactive play in which they open up the performance space to the audience after the show ends. During this time the audience is invited to explore the stage, try on costumes and even make a paper boat to take home! Check out all the great goings on at The Alma Tavern Theatre here.
