Breakfast in Bedminster is back for 2017 to celebrate the most important meal of the day. 20 incredible restaurants, cafes and businesses will join together to create special film themed breakfast menus on Saturday 29th April.

Cited as the most important meal of the day, what better way to kick-start your weekend than with film screenings, pop-up events, one off menus, boozy brunches as well as special offers for those dressed in pyjama attire. The whole thing kicks off at 8am for those who want to make the most of their Saturdays. Thankfully, for those that prefer their Friday evenings to end on the later side, it runs until 11am.

There will also be a screening of  80s comedy-drama The Breakfast Club sandwiches at the Tobacco Factory, The Old Bookshop serving a Fast and Furious inspired brunch and cocktail special as well as a bottomless brunch, Prosecco and film with Bagel Boy.

Other key highlights include an all American breakfast for the young ones at the Hungry Caterpillar Cafe, free coffee at Grounded Coffee and free croissants from Eddie’s Coffee Lounge for those bold enough to brave streets in their pyjamas. There will also be a chance to sample the Lounge’s latest breakfast menu.

Local artists, Unit 10 will be pounding the pavements of Bedminster with screen and stamp printing, encouraging visitors to get creative with their breakfasts as well as making their own clip on egg earrings.

Simon Dickens, Chairman of Bedminster BID explains: “We’re eggcited to be bringing another Breakfast in Bedminster event to the area after the success of our launch last year.

“Breakfast in Bedminster is about celebrating the eggcellent indie businesses and shops of Bedminster, supporting local producers and most of all celebrating the most important meal of the day in a  unique and fun atmosphere.

“This year we’re hosting a film themed breakfast Saturday throughout the neighbourhood and we’re inviting everyone to head to Bedminster to start the day right whilst watching one of their favourite films.”
