Exclusive preview of Bristol-based film to be shown at The Redgrave Theatre

Posted on: 04 Apr 2017

Chris Murnaghan's new independent movie Kill Face, a black comedy shot entirely in Bristol with a local cast and crew, will receive an advance screening at The Redgrave Theatre this Thursday (6th April), with proceeds helping the film onto the festival circuit.

With a tagline that runs ‘Four idiots. One gun. No limits.’, Kill Face sounds like it is about to strike the delicate balance between light and dark required for an effective black comedy. Be amongst the first to check out the Bristol-made film at a suitably Bristolian preview, taking place at The Redgrave Theatre on Thursday. Watch the trailer below.

To this end, director Chris Murnaghan says, “this project is undoubtedly a Bristol project. We think we’ve captured the spirit of Bristol and want to give back to the city with a special screening before we hit the festival circuit. It has been a real challenge to organise the whole project. It’s been three years of sleepless nights but the team and I have worked really hard to create something that we and I hope the whole of Bristol can be proud of.”

Centering around the intricate plans of four aspirational criminals, Kill Face takes audiences ‘on a mind-bending ridge through the mind of the nineties generation.’ A Q&A with the film's cast will take place after the screening.
