Catch 22 is an award winning seafood restaurant on Bristol's College Green, just at the bottom of Park Street. Its classic fish and chips have become the stuff of legend and the rest of the menu is quite remarkable.
There's both a takeaway and a very well appointed restaurant. The menus are packed with everything you would expect from a fish and chip shop, but there's plenty more on offer too. There's also a lunchtime deal: get yourself a cod and chips with mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce or beans for just £4.95! Other options include: sausage, calamari, cod goujons and sausage bap. For a little more you can get practically anything on the menu and, even when adding the normally up to £4 extras, you’ll never pay more than £9.95. Amazing value for food of this quality.
Situated on College Green, Catch 22 is ideally located for a lunchtime stop-off while shopping to rest the weary legs, or even just to get away from the office. It’s also perfect for an evening meal before drinks or a theatre trip at the Hippodrome or show at Colston Hall.
