The Festival of the Dead returns to Bristol

Posted on: 21 Mar 2017

Bristol’s very own skeletal celebration of all things mortal will take over the O2 Academy on the 25th November. Move quickly for tickets, early birds have already sold out!

Festival of the Dead

Though it is common to feel like a shell or skeleton of your former self on the morning after a big night out, it is rare that you are actively encouraged to appear as such during the night itself. But that is exactly what will happen when the Festival of the Dead returns this November, packing out the O2 Academy with skulls, skeletons and myriad other symbols of mortality.

Going far and above what constitutes the bare bones of partying, the Festival of the Dead will be accompanied by acrobats, fire breathers, circus performers, live music, DJs and dazzling light shows.

It takes an understanding and celebration of death to feel completely alive - and you will never feel more alive than you do in the midst of the Festival of the Dead.
