Irish country music in Bristol? Quite a triple-threat. That's what Derek Ryan is bringing to The Redgrave Theatre on Sunday 2nd April 2017 as he stops off on his UK tour. Tickets are now available for what's set to be yet another sell-out show for the award winning Irishman.

Since the release of his hit single ‘God’s Plan’, Derek has gained two Irish Number One albums, sell-out shows at home and abroad and fistfuls of music awards to his name including Entertainer Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best Live Performer.

Speaking about the upcoming tour Derek said; “I’m looking forward to getting back on the road again, it’s great to meet the fans in all the different cities, we couldn’t do it without them!”

It has been a long road to the top for Derek, as a teenager he fronted the popular boy band ‘D-Side’ who went on to have 3 top 10 UK hits as well as a number one in Japan. But it was country music where Derek found his true calling, and his rise to stardom on the Irish country scene has been at a phenomenal rate. Since the release of his hit single ‘God’s Plan’, Derek has gained two Irish Number One albums, sell-out shows at home and abroad and fistfuls of music awards to his name including Entertainer Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best Live Performer.

2017 will see the first UK tour for Derek Ryan since the simultaneous release of his magnificent seventh and eighth albums, ‘Happy Man’ and ‘This is Me’. Derek fulfilled a long cherished dream of recording ‘This is Me’ in USA last January working with Nashville producing 'royalty', Jeff Balding whose studio credits include Don Henley, Dolly Parton and Shania Twain.

Tickets are priced at £21 and available at The Redgrave Theatre's website.
