Posted on: 27 Feb 2017

Following the battering of Storm Doris, temperatures in Bristol are set to remain at a constant slightly below double digits though will be less affected by the blustery wind chill of last week. Its rainy legacy persists though, meaning that the threat of shower is a constant to each of the next seven days; though there will be sunnier spells to perforate the wet.

Below is our day-by-day weather forecast, informed by BBC and those at the Met Office, complete with a suggestion of a weather-suitable activity. Have a great week!

Monday 27th February - Not Dead Enough at The Bristol Hippodrome

With highs of 8°C and lows of 2°C, Monday’s weather is not likely to make its mind up, with erratic scatterings of heavy shower competing with spells of bright sunshine, until the evening when a sustained drizzle will set in until the early hours of Tuesday morning…

Tuesday 28th February - On the Street Where You Live at The Alma Tavern

…which improves to provide bursts of sunshine before the afternoon brings with it the potential for some sporadic showers. These should clear to allow for a sunny afternoon, lapsing into a warmer, dryer night. Highs of 8°C, lows of 4°C.

Wednesday 1st March - Mike and the Mechanics at Colston Hall

Wednesday will operate very much within the same temperature scale and with the similar lingering potential of light showers in the grey skies of the afternoon Not the happiest of hump days.

Thursday 2nd March - Art and its Materials at Spike Island

This all changes on Thursday which is set to stay dry for its duration, with a splash of blazing sunshine making for a brilliant morning with temperatures scraping into double figures in the afternoon and making for a warmer night.

Friday 3rd March - Sum 41 at The O2 Academy

This sadly will not continue for much longer, with prolonged showers in the morning making for a soggy Friday. This should clear up in the evening, with the remaining cloud meaning that the night should stay reasonably warm.

Saturday 4th March - Henning Wehn at Colston Hall

The weekend kicks off true to the erratic form of the five days which precede it, with Saturday subject to the same mix of sun, shower and cloud. Temperatures should remain between 5 - 10°C.

Sunday 5th March - Mark Eitzel at The Fleece

This week ends very much as it began, with smatterings of rain and sun set within a very similar temperature range, concluding a seven days characteristic of the beginning of Spring in Bristol.
