Hugely impressive Sunday Lunch at the Jetty Restaurant in Bristol

The Sunday lunch menu continues the theme of excellence but at the astonishingly low price of just £19.95 for 3 courses including Bloody or Virgin Mary.
It's been a little while since the huge and thriving Bristol Sunday roast scene has been this excited. Set in the former Lloyd’s Bank building at the top of Corn Street, The Jetty simply must be on your ‘to-do list’. To say their menu is enticing is perhaps the biggest understatement you'll read all week. The menu throughout the week has rightly garnered rave reviews but it's the Sunday lunch menu that will take the praise here.
Naturally, what you're looking for will likely be a meat and two veg affair. Beef Wellington, roast pork and roast lamb tick those boxes with exquisite aplomb. The trimmings are of a level you would expect from a place like this - crisp, fluffy roast potatoes, perfectly cooked veg, giant Yorkshire pudding and unctuous gravy. As for the meats? Well...well, you get the idea. They're superb.
Starters include potted shrimp, wild mushroom risotto and even the likes of a scallop, bacon and waffle. Dessert comes headed up by the hugely popular warm chocolate fondant. A gin and tonic coupe or summer pudding Eton mess could also temp you. These are just a few of the many option adorning the menu that also include pre-dinner appetisers for you to enjoy as you chose.
What sets The Jetty apart is the fact that their Sunday menu isn't just limited to classic roasts. If one of your party would prefer not to indulge in a classic roast then what about a mixed fish grill, quail pie or cod and crab? There's even lobster and Fruits de Mer.
