Absolute Karting

Pace-merchants with an adrenaline habit and a need for speed will receive a new outlet when Absolutely Karting opens to the public on Saturday, offering a place for budding F1 drivers can put their pedals to the metal in the name of fun.

The course, which boasts some devilish hairpins and tricky chicanes, is a monster and will be populated by Honda-engined, Sodi GT5 Go-Karts which can reach top speeds of 45mph. These can be driven by anyone over the age of eight.

Once the checked flag has fallen, the centre’s bar is the prime place to celebrate or commiserate post-race.

The course’s opening times are as follows:

Monday to Friday – noon until 8pm
Saturday - 9am until 9pm
Sunday - 9am until 7pm

For more information, or to book a session, visit Absolutely Karting’s website. Book before Saturday and receive 20% off. Address: 14 Chapel Lane, Speedwell, Bristol, BS5 7EY.
