Great places to watch The Super Bowl in Bristol

Posted on: 01 Feb 2017

Bristol, why not join 160 million others across the globe for 'The Greatest Show On Earth'...The Super Bowl. After 16 games of the regular season, followed by the playoffs, two contenders have emerged. The New England Patriots will represent the AFC and face the Atlanta Falcons of the NFC. They will meet in the 51st Super Bowl in NFL history on Sunday February 5th at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Tom Brady - Great places to watch The Superbowl in Bristol

The Patriots are lead by living legend Tom Brady at quarterback. The former Michigan Wolverine - undoubtedly one of the greatest players of all time - already has 4 Super Bowl rings and he and head coach Bill Belichick are heading to their seventh Super Bowl together - an NFL record for a QB/HC duo. It is impossible to not be impressed by the Patriots year in, year out...but they will now face the NFL's #1 scoring offense lead by Matt Ryan at QB.

Ryan has long been thought of as one of the leaders of the 'second-tier' of NFL QBs, just waiting to break into the elite, certain future Hall of Fame level occupied by his opponent Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and the recently retired Peyton Manning, who won last year's Big Game with the Denver Broncos. A win here would surely silence any doubters and propel the League MVP candidate into that upper echelon. However, standing in his way will be the defense that has conceded the fewest points in the league this year.

This is a really tough game to predict. The young Atlanta defense played superbly against the high-powered Green Bay Packers offense in the last round. Their offense looked unstoppable too, but then the Patriots' offense has been continuously excellent for more than a decade and they have a league-leading defense.

It's a brave person who puts a bet on this game but 365Bristol's prediction is Patriots 24 - 17 Falcons. Let us know what you think.
