Feeling the post-Christmas financial pinch but don't want to miss out on some of the great gigs launching us headlong into 2017? Then worry no more, because the Free For All Festival at the Stag and Hounds in Bristol is offering the perfect sonic tonic with three top acts on Sunday 8 January 2017.

 

And, as the name suggests, you can get in for absolutely buckshee, completely nada, totally gratis and soak up the sounds of a triptych of superlative bands in one of the best pubs and live music venues in the city.

 

So what can you expect in exchange for a gig entry that involves absolutely no cash crossing palms whatsoever? Well, you can immerse yourself in the sound worlds of experimental industrial techno group Organchrist; experimental, modern percussion infused sound duo COIMS; and purveyors of musical soundscapes Saltings

 

The first band will kick off at 8pm. Free For All Festival will be showcasing the supreme talents of 150 bands over an impressive 27-day stretch, and you can feast your eyes on this and other upcoming events on the official Facebook page.
