itsu's Bristol Branch Opens Tomorrow

itsu's Bristol Branch Opens Tomorrow

Posted on: 13 Dec 2016

Having already opened plenty of shops through the UK it is of little surprise that the Asia-inspired health foods resturant itsu will open a new store in Bristol tomorrow (Wednesday 14th December). Located on the corner of Broadmead, just outside the popular Cabot Circus shopping centre, this is sure to be a treat for the both the health-conscious and the food-lovers of Bristol.

One of the already hugely popular itsu stores around the UK

itsu, the healthy Asian-infused and innovative food brand, is bringing its ‘Eat beautiful’ menu to Bristol this winter. With 64 dishes of protein-packed, low-carb and flavoursome dishes to choose from, it’s time to welcome the new butterfly-light alternative to town when its doors open tomorrow.

Already well established in London, Oxford, Brighton, Manchester and Leeds, Bristol’s energy and diversity made it an obvious choice for the brand's newest branch.

Highly anticipated are itsu's trademark udon evening dishes. Available from 5pm, these hot noodle delights are guaranteed to warm customers up on the cold winter days ahead. These can be washed down via the alcoholic bar which will serve wine, beer and prosecco, perfect for a bit of festive fizz.

The store also likes to treat their customers, anyone who buys a tea or coffee will receive a free banana to keep them going throughout the day.

The concept, which came from Julian Metcalfe (co-founder of Pret A Manger), has won plaudits for its healthy food by serving up mouth-wateringly nutritious and seasonal menus created by a team of talented chefs who have dedicated years to developing the itsu recipes. With dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians, itsu Bristol will receive a positive welcome from the city's foodies.

Agne Kazberaite, Head of Regions at itsu commented:

“We’re excited to be introducing our ‘eat beautiful’ concept to Bristol – it’s vibrant, relaxed and quirky, just like itsu, add to that the thriving food scene and desire for healthy, tasty food, it’s a perfect fit for us.  Our customers want amazing flavours from the far east; high in nutrients yet refreshingly low in calories and saturated fat.”

In keeping with the city’s green credentials, itsu Bristol takes sustainability seriously. Half an hour before closing, the shop will hold an itsu sale when all sushi and salad boxes will be reduced to half price. Almost nothing goes in the bin and Bristol customers get to try different dishes.

This truly is a great alternative for people in Bristol to get their healthy snacks and we have to advice heading on down whenever you get a chance and spoil yourself this winter!

Just one example of the amazing food itsu will soon be serving in Bristol
