Andrew Bird Stand Up at The Hen and Chicken

Andrew Bird Stand Up at The Hen and Chicken

The Northants funny man will appear at the Southville venue next Saturday (17th December) at a show compered by Fin Taylor and also starring Tom Ward. Get ready for a tripartite rib-tickler presented by The Comedy Box.

Andrew Bird has been cutting his comedic teeth ever since he was drinking underage in dodgy Northampton pubs, where he would try to make the older men chuckle with his observations. Now a slightly more established comedian, having toured with the likes of Rhod Gilbert (who described him as "effortlessly engaging and funny as hell"), he has carved out a reputation on the back of his nimble storytelling and affability.

Support for the show comes from the more eccentric-styled comic Tom Ward, while the local and regular Fin Taylor provides compere duties.

Doors are at 7.45pm for an 8.45pm start. Tickets for the show are priced at £12 and can be bought here.
