Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Bristol Hippodrome

After becoming a huge hit in the West End, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is taking to the road - rather than flying - and coming to Bristol. Generations have marveled at the movie. It's as great now as when it was first released in 1968. The film, whose screenplay was written by Roald Dahl and directed by Ken Hughes, was actually adapted from Ian Flemming's original novel. Taking the place of Dick Van Dyke is Jason Manford, while Phil Jupitus and Clair Sweeney play Baron and Baroness Bomburst.
